The Scholastic areas of studies in the Senior Wing include Mathematics, Science and Social Studies, along with Languages which include English (compulsory First Language) Hindi, Punjabi and French (Second and optional Third Language). The school offers courses such as Physical Education, Painting, Music, Dance and IT.

The curriculum aims at:

  • Developing the ability to conceptualize, probe, reason and communicate efficiently and effectively
  • Developing a positive attitude towards learning and the capability to appreciate the aesthetic and cultural aspects of various events, people and places.
  • Fostering in the students a thirst for knowledge, honesty and an attitude of giving their best to every situation they come across in their lives.

Introduction of Skill Subjects 

The launch of New Education Policy by the Govt. of India has brought a revolutionary change in the education sector, shifting focus from rote learning to skill based learning.

We at Smart Wonders have always embraced the new initiatives and introduced skill subjects like Coding, Artificial Intelligence, Financial Literacy and Marketing & Sales. These are taught during the skill lessons allocated in the time table. The introduction of skill subjects for classes 6-9 has brought a fresh lease of life in the school campus.

To enable the Smart Wonderites to excel in a technological and information rich environment, a variety of teaching methods are used, which include teacher- directed learning, student research, group projects and presentations. For interactive sessions and to emphasis on e-learning the classrooms are equipped with Smart boards

A wide range of assessment methods are used to assess students' learning outcomes. These may include individual research projects, group assignments, oral and visual presentations, use of technology including Power Point as well as more traditional class tests and assignments.

To create ‘CONFIDENT, COMPETENT and CARING young adults’, the students are given exposure to inter-school, inter-city and global events like MUN, World Scholar's Cup, Zonal, District Sports Tournaments and State Level, ISRO conference, Olympiads etc.

The students' eventful journey into adolescence is supported by regular counseling sessions by the School Counsellor.
