Where is the school located?
Smart Wonders school is centrally located in the heart of Mohali. The school is located in Sector 71, Mohali, near IVY Hospital and Pracheen Kala Kendra. It is easily and conveniently accessible from the areas of Kharar and Chandigarh.
When can I visit the school?
You can visit the school on all working days from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. On Saturday the timings are from 8.00 a.m. to 2.00 pm. You are also most welcome to take a tour of the school and acquire first-hand information about the facilities and infrastructure.
What kind of infrastructure and methodology does the school promote?
The centrally air conditioned building boasts of state of the art infrastructure and facilities. The school has well equipped Computer, Art, Math, Science and English language labs to promote experiential learning.

  • A fully automated air conditioned library is a treasure house of knowledge and ensures that all members of the school community have equitable access to books and information.

What is the entry level of the school?
The entry level class is KG. Ideally the child should be 4+ for the entry level. Admission is open for the new session.

The school reserves the right to admit the children found eligible for admission. In all the matters related to admission, the decision of the Principal will be final.

What is the procedure for admission to the entry level?

Is there a dead line for applying?
No, there is no deadline. The admissions depend upon the availability of seats.
When should I submit the application for admission?
  • The Registration and Admission for the New Academic Session is open.
  • Midterm admission is subject to vacancy.
Is there a required interview or admission test?
There is no admission test or interview of the child at the time of admission. An informal interaction of the parent along with the child with the Principal is mandatory.
When does your academic session begin and end?
The academic session begins in April and ends in the subsequent year March.
Is transport facility available?
The school takes pride in its fleet of buses which are equipped with GPS, CCTV cameras in all the buses. Strict compliance to the rule of a trained female attendant in each bus is adhered to diligently.

The school has launched a mobile application which allows parents to monitor and track the school buses. The app provides information about the location of the bus, its time of arrival and departure speed, and when it would approach a stoppage

How is the school fee payable?
The school fee is payable by cash or cheque in the bank ‘Kotak Mahindra Bank’, SCF 108, Phase- 3B2, Mohali, in the prescribed format available from the School. The fee is also payable through the Parent Login facility available on the website.
What does the school fee include?
The school fee includes the cost for the annual function/ sports meet, yearbook, annual class photograph. The school fee is inclusive of sports activities, lab facilities, workshops and seminars, clubs and houses, medical facilities.
What is the curriculum offered in the senior school?
The school adheres to the CBSE guidelines while framing the syllabi for the senior school. Care is taken to ensure that the CBSE guidelines are followed for teaching and assessment of these classes.
What is the curriculum offered in the junior wing?
The school has a well researched structured curriculum, which ensures conceptual understanding and applied thinking. There are six domains of development which forms the frame work of the syllabus for Junior School. They are- Language development for effective communication, Numeracy development for problem solving and reasoning. Cognitive development to stimulate intellectual curiosity and physical development to enable strong foundation for fine and gross motor skill development. Creative development to stimulate aesthetic appreciation and Social and emotional development to ensure social competence and emotional well being. Student experience all the concepts through hand on activities and experiments.
How frequent are the Parent Teacher meetings?
There are 4 formal and 2 informal PTMs slotted over the different months in an academic session. However, the parents are welcome to visit the school on a working Saturday between 8.30 to 11.30 a.m. to meet the Educators or the Academic Coordinators. (1st Saturday is an off for the school academic staff)
What is the school examination policy?
A continuous and comprehensive system of evaluation is followed for all classes as per the CBSE guidelines. There are no formal exams in the Pre-Primary sections. However students are promoted on the basis of continuous evaluation, carried out through various assessments held periodically.
How can I get access to the academic achievements of my child?
A parent login ID along with the user password shall be issued to each parent for the quick and convenient access to their child’s performance. The comprehensive and interactive school website provides student centric information to the parent.
Does the school provide support for the students with special
needs and learning disabilities?
The school counselor provides guidance and support to the students with learning disabilities and special needs.
What kind of Co-curricular activities do you offer to the child?
The school offers various programmes integrated into the curriculum by way of houses, clubs, assemblies- wherein students showcase their talents in the field of music, dance and theatre. Our school has the following clubs that help a child develop skills required as per the CBSE guidelines. The clubs are:-Cook & Serve, Drama Club, Eco Club, Kathak, Language café (Spanish), Needlework & Textile Printing, Origami & Paper Mache, Photography Club, Soft Skills & Tech Team

Besides these clubs regular, inter-house activities are conducted to promote all round development of the students.

What sports does the school offer?

The school has facilities for the following sports and expert coaching is available for the same.

Aerobics , Basketball, Chess, Cricket, Football, Gymnastics, Lawn tennis, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Volleyball, Swimming & Yoga.

Does the school promote participation in ‘Inter School Competitions’?
Yes the students get a number of opportunities to interact with students from other schools in and around the tri-city. The school conducts and hosts interschool sports, dramatics and other events periodically.
What health care is available at the school?
There is a qualified doctor on roll in the school. A general dental, eye & health-checkup is, conducted as per the CBSE guidelines.
